Mindfulness Meditation
One of the best ways to become more present in everything from your work to your relationships is to practice mindfulness meditation. Many of us are used to handling our problems by stressing out or by taking the first action that comes to mind. When you practice mindfulness meditation, you learn to think more clearly, and take action when the time is right.
Mindful meditation is a way to get in touch with your instincts. In this fast-paced world, many of us have lost the basic ability to handle a situation with insight and intuition. When you take time out of your day to clear you mind, you don't have to intellectualize your problems, you just have to trust your instincts. What a relief to regain that sense of self that allows you to trust your inner voice with absolute certainty.
Many a person has confused concentration with mindfulness. Concentration is focusing on a single object or task, while mindfulness is less focused on a single element and more on the overall experience. Mindfulness meditation is a way of observing and experiencing the present moment in a way many of us have never done before. Many people experience true serenity when they reach a state of mindfulness in their lives.
